Bangkok

Bangkok is considered to be one of the world's top tourist hotspots and it is Thailand's major tourist gateway. The city boasts some of the country's most visited cultural venues such as the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun. Not only that, Bangkok also has many luxury shopping department stores as well as fine dining establishments.
Chachoengsao

Chachoengsao is located on the bank of the Bang Pakong River. It is commonly called Paet Riu. The name is derived from a large-sized fish locally caught in the past. The town is some 100 kilometres east of Bangkok
Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is the second largest city and the most culturally significant in northern Thailand. It iswhere you can find centuries-old chedis and temples right in the middle of the town. It also has many fascinating cultural elements such as traditional cuisine, architecture, handicrafts, classical dances and hill tribes villages.
Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai is located within the renowned Golden Triangle area where Myanmar, Laos and Thailand converge. It is also known as the gateway to Myanmar, Laos and Southern China. Attractions range from mountain scenery, ancient settlements, historic sites, Buddhist shrines and ethnic villages as the province is also home to several hill tribes who maintain fascinating lifestyles. For those interested in the natural side of Chiang Rai, jungle trekking is recommended along various trails.
Chonburi

Chonburi is not far from Bangkok and is where Bangkokians who seek the nearest escape from the hectic city go. It has many beautiful beaches, delicious khao lam dessert, sweet sugar cane, delicate basketry products and buffalo racing. In addition, Chonburi is the centre of the Eastern Seaboard Development project.
Kanchanaburi

Kanchanaburi is best known for the Bridge over the River Kwai, immortalised in books and movies. Also, there is the Thungyai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary listed in the UNESCO World Heritage list. Many activities around Kanchanburi include trekking, river cruising by boat or raft, and elephant riding.
Krabi

Krabi is a holiday paradise for almost everyone who loves diving, sea sand and sun. Apart from the world famous Phi Phi Islands, Krabi has the stunning limestone cliffs which are a challenge for rock climbers.
Nakhon Pathom

Nakhon Pathom has an ancient religious structure called Phra Pathom Chedi, a landmark to represent the influx of Buddhism into Thailand. The area is also renowned for its abundant fruit varieties and famous dishes.
Nakhon Ratchasima

Nakhon Ratchasima is the gateway to the lower northeastern region. Attractions are Khmer ruins scattered around the province. In addition, Nakhon Ratchasima has an abundance of natural attractions in its forests, hills, wildlife and waterfalls that are easily accessible in locations such Khao Yai National Park. Nakhon Ratchasima is also well known for silk weaving (in Pak Thong Chai) and a variety of good-quality handicrafts such as the clay pottery of Dan Kwian.

Nakhon Si Thammarat

Nakhon Si Thammarat, the second largest province of the South and the land of predominant Buddhism during the Srivijaya Period, is 780 kilometres from Bangkok. It occupies an area of 9,942 square kilometres consisting of high plateau and mountains in the west then sloping down towards the east and becoming a basin along the coastline of the Gulf of Thailand.

In addition to its great history, Nakhon Si Thammarat boasts pristine verdant jungles abundant with luxuriant vegetation and is also noted for picturesque beaches and beautiful waterfalls.

Phang-nga's andaman coast offers parks of a different kind.  The island groups of Surin and Similan are renowned for their beautiful unspoilt beaches and spectacular underwater scenery, attracting divers from around the world.  Khao Lak is a coastal park full of birds, mammals and scenic waterfalls, with a number of hotel developments after Tsunami disaster in December 2004.
